His outstanding efforts has made him become the Special Teams Player of the Week on five separate occasions. He earned Special Teams Player of the Week in Weeks Three, Four, Seven, 15, and 17. Peterson looks to finish the 2018 season with a championship victory over the Columbus Lions.

In the regular season, Peterson broke an NAL record for the most PAT's made with 88 and deuces with 27. He was 88-of-110 on PAT's, 4-of-14 on FG's, and made 27 deuces.

This season in the playoffs, Peterson is 7-of-9 on PAT's 1-of-1 on FG's, and made one deuce. Peterson plans on continuing to show his greatness tomorrow night at 7:00 pm (E.T.) at the Greensboro Coliseum, as the Cobras take on the Lions in the NAL Championship Game.
