Central Valley Coyotes News Release
FRESNO - The Central Valley Coyotes will host their first-ever international game against the New Zealand all-stars at the Selland Arena at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27.
"It's great to be a part of this event," said head coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr. "It really shows how big our game has grown and gives us an opportunity to really support the worldwide interest of arena football."
The pre-season game will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Central Valley Coyotes in action.
The New Zealand team is made up of players from various professional outdoor teams in their country. This marks the first time the New Zealand all-stars have taken on an arena football team.
The Coyotes will kick off their 2005 af2 season on the road in Bakersfield on April 2. Fifty dollar deposits for 2005 Coyote season tickets, which include all nine games played at Selland Arena, are now being accepted at 559-263-9780.
