Coyotes Recall Kennedy from Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Tim Kennedy from the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 27-year-old Kennedy has played in six games with the Coyotes this season, totaling three assists and a plus-one rating. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound native of Buffalo, N.Y., has also registered 0-2-2 with six penalty minutes (PIM) in six games with the Pirates. He has recorded 13-21-34 with 56 PIM in 131 career NHL games.

Kennedy was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in the sixth round (181st overall) in the 2005 Entry Draft.
