
Coyotes Assign Miele to Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 25-year-old Miele has recorded 0-2-2 with five penalty minutes (PIM) in seven games with the Coyotes this season. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound native of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., has also posted 23-34-57 and 60 PIM in 56 games with the Pirates.
Miele has appeared in 15 career NHL games with Phoenix, totaling 0-2-2 and 11 PIM. He originally signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on April 2, 2011.
