
Coyotes Assign Miele to Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Miele has registered 0-2-2 and five penalty minutes (PIM) in four games with the Coyotes this season. He has also collected 5-3-8 and six PIM in six games with the Pirates. He led Portland in scoring at the time of his recall.
Miele originally signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on April 2, 2011.
