
Coyotes and Aces postponed due to threatening Dolly

Edinburg, Texas- The Edinburg Coyotes announced that Thursday's game between the Alexandria Aces is cancelled due to threat of Hurricane Dolly. The game will made up as part of double-header consisting of two seven inning games on Saturday at Edinburg Baseball Stadium. Game 1 of the double-header will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Game 2 will follow shortly after the completion of the first game. Friday's game will be scheduled for regular time at 7:05 p.m.
"We want to take all precautionary steps in order to secure the safety of our fans, staff and players on both sides," Assistant General Manager Omar Ortiz said. "Of course we don't want to cancel but we feel we should play a double-header on Saturday just to be on the safe side."
All pre-paid tickets including the McAllen Chamber tickets will be honored on Friday or any other Coyote home game throughout the season.
