
Cowlitz Black Bears to Hold Youth Baseball Camps

Longview, WA, June 21, 2012 The Cowlitz Black Bears are hosting three remaining summer baseball camps for children of all ages. The next camp will be the Black Bears Fundamentals Camp (4 day) and is July 12th-July 15th. Camp Starts at 9 am and ends at Noon each day. The price for this camp is $95 per camper. After the fundamentals camp the Black Bears will host the Black Bears "BOOMBA" Hitting Camp. This camp starts on July 21 and ends on July 22 and begins at 10 am and ends at Noon each day. The price for that camp is only $35. The final camp of the season is the Black Bears "end of the summer" camp and begins July 26th and ends July 28th. The camp runs from 9am - Noon each day and cost $80 per camper.
(ALL CAMPS OPEN AGES 7-18 AND INCLUDE A CAMP T-SHIRT)
Purpose: To help develop solid fundamentals in the game of baseball for all the youth of Cowlitz County and it's surrounding area. Campers will learn team batting, throwing, base running, and defensive skills valued at the next level and gather a clear understanding of the proper way to play this great game.
