
Courage Waive Midfielder Haleigh Stackpole

CARY, NC - The North Carolina Courage today announced that the club have waived midfielder Haleigh Stackpole. The club would like to thank Haleigh for her contributions and hard work and wish her all the best.
Stackpole was drafted by the Courage 29th overall in the second round of the 2022 NWSL Draft. Hailing from the University of Mississippi and a product of the NC Courage Academy, the 22-year-old earned Second Team All-SEC honors during her senior year, starting all 21 matches, scoring five goals and ranking third in the nation with 16 assists on the season. She was also named to the 2021 United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Second Team.
The Courage return to action on Saturday, Aug. 13, returning to WakeMed Soccer Park for a doubleheader with North Carolina FC. The men's side will kick off against Central Valley Fuego FC at 5 p.m. ET, and the Courage will face the Kansas City Current at 8 p.m. ET. Tickets to the pair of matches are available for purchase here. The Courage match will be streamed live on Twitch (globally).
