Aberdeen Wings News Release
The 2020-21 season didn't end the way the Wings wanted when they fell 4-2 to the Shreveport Mudbugs in the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship game on June 22 in Blaine, MN.
But that doesn't mean the team doesn't have plenty to be proud of following a record-setting season.
Playoffs
Natan Vertes scored six goals in the Wings' eleven playoff games, leading the entire league in goals scored. Adding that to his 28 regular season goals, he finished with 34 points in 67 total games, good for a second-place finish in the league.
Jake Sibell ended his playoff run with a 1.93 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
