
Stefan Owens Commits to UMass Lowell

Two year veteran, Stefan Owens, is proud to announce his commitment to the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Stefan Owens has been a Maine Nordiques staple over the past two years and has been very good on both sides of the ice. In his two years, in the NAHL, Stefan as found himself with over 100 games played ( 120 ) and 84 total points in his two year NAHL career. Stefan Owens is also a key asset on the Nordiques special teams. Stefan has also rarely seen himself in the box in his two year career with only acquiring eighteen penalty minutes total.
Stefan has also been a role model off the ice for the 2003 and 2002 birth year players who are in their first NAHL season. Stefan has deservingly worn the "C" for The Nords this season and is an exceptional all around hockey player and person.
The Maine Nordiques organization would like to congratulate Stefan on his accomplishments wish him the best of luck with The River Hawks!
