Game Preview
Two of the Eastern Conference best will battle at the BI-LO Center this evening, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel down South to play the Greenville Road Warriors. Tonight is the first of two straight between the teams. On the season, the K-Wings are 1-1-0-0 against the Road Warriors.
Tonight is the second-leg of a four-game road swing for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo began the trip last Saturday with a 4-0 victory over the Toledo Walleye. With 55 points, the K-Wings are in first place in the North Division.
After starting the week with a 4-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays, the Road Warriors, who are 14-6-1-1 at the BI-LO Center, return home to start a six-game home stand. Greenville enters the night in second place in the South Division, three points behind the Gwinnett Gladiators for first.

Shutting the Door
Last Saturday's shutout against the Toledo Walleye was the K-Wings first of the season. Kalamazoo's last shutout was back on April 1, 2011 against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Heating Up
Two members of the K-Wings enter the week on impressive point streaks. Forward Darryl Bootland is riding a five-game point streak, while Trent Daavettila has earned at least one point in each of his last four games.
Road Tested
Kalamazoo is riding a season-high three-game road winning streak. Since the start of 2012, the K-Wings are 5-1-0-0 on the road.
Heading South
Kalamazoo's next three games will be against the South Division. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-3-0-1 against teams from the South.
