
Jackals Announce Roster Moves

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced on Thursday that they have signed forward John Goffredo to a standard player contract and have placed forward Alec Kirschner on waivers.
Goffredo, a third-year pro, has 42 points (17g-25a) in 36 games with the FHL's New Jersey Outlaws this season. The Washingtonville, N.Y. native played his first two pro seasons with the FHL's Brooklyn Aviators, totaling 96 points (44g-52a) from 2009-2011. Prior to turning pro, Goffredo skated two seasons at Fitchburg State College (NCAA, D-III) from 2007-2009, notching 41 points (16g-25a).
Kirschner played in 17 games with Elmira this season, including eight in his latest stint which began on Jan. 20. He is scoreless with the Jackals this season.
