Kalamazoo Wings News Release

For the second-time this weekend, the Kalamazoo Wings will clash against the Fort Wayne Komets. Kalamazoo knocked off Fort Wayne Friday 4-3 in a shootout. On the season, Kalamazoo is 7-3-0-0 versus Fort Wayne and 129-127-31-2 all-time in their IHL history.

For the second straight game, the K-Wings needed extra time to finish off an opponent. Kalamazoo's 5-4 overtime victory versus Port Huron yesterday places the K-Wings in a second place tie with the Muskegon Lumberjacks and two points behind the Icehawks for first.
