Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the first-time this season the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Rockford IceHogs. The last time these two-teams faced-off, Kalamazoo ended Rockford's season with a 3-1 victory in Game Four of the Colonial Cup Semi-Finals at the MetroCentre.
With losing two straight games for the first-time since last December, the K-Wings come into the MetroCentre looking to get back to their winning ways. On the season, Kalamazoo is 3-0-0 against teams from the Western Conference.
Rockford currently sits in second place in the Western Conference and just five points behind Fort Wayne for the conference's top spot. After getting off to slow start to the season, the IceHogs are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and are riding a two-game unbeaten streak.

Nick of Time
K-Wing defenseman Nick Toneys returned to the lineup last night against Muskegon. Toneys, who had missed 9 games due to injury, dished out two assists in the contest.
On the Road Again
While tonight finishes off a two-game road swing for Kalamazoo, the K-Wings will have to get used to life on the away from Wings Stadium. Starting with last night's encounter against Muskegon, Kalamazoo will hit the road for six of their next nine games.
Against the West
Tonight's game is the fourth this season for the K-Wings against the Western Division. So far this year, Kalamazoo is 3-0-0 against teams from the west.
Snapping a Streak
Kalamazoo is looking to snap a season long two-game losing streak. The K-Wings have not lost three consecutive games in regulation since the 2004-05 season (1/28/05-1/30/05), a span of 122 games.
