Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The Kalamazoo Wings and the Port Huron Flags hit the ice to start the first half of a home and home series. While today is the first meeting of the season, K-Wings are hoping to continue were they have left off with the Flags. Kalamazoo has dominated the all-time series between the teams with a record of 9-0-1.
For the first-time this season, Kalamazoo will play on back-to-back days. The K-Wings are looking to rebound after a 4-3 loss last night at home to Muskegon. After today's game, the K-Wings will return home to play four straight games at Wings Stadium, starting next Friday against the Flags.
With a victory last night to Quad City, the Flags enter this afternoon in search of their first multi-game winning streak of the season. Port Huron has a multi-dimensional scoring attack, which is led by Greg Bullock, who leads the Flags in scoring with 6 points.
