The Kalamazoo Wings and the Danbury Trashers return to the ice tonight for Game Two of the Colonial Cup Finals. The K-Wings defeated the Trashers last night at Wings Stadium to take a one game to none lead in the Best of Seven Series.

Kalamazoo's Nick Bootland and Tyler Rennette connected for four of the K-Wings six goals in Game One. Bootland has recorded a point in each of the K-Wings home playoff games, while Rennette has registered eight points in just three playoff games.

With the next three games of the series to be played in Danbury, the Trashers would love nothing more than to win tonight and have the series tied at 1-1. Danbury will also be looking to get out to a good start, as they are undefeated in the postseason when they lead after the first period.

Team Captain Nick Bootland has given K-Wing fans much to cheer about in these playoffs. Bootland enters tonight on a five-game home goal and point streak.

A Night at The Drake

Forward Lucas Drake has lit the lamp nine times in these playoffs. Eight of Drake's nine goals have come while the K-Wings were at Wings Stadium.

You can add two more milestones to the K-Wings magical season. The crowd of 3,960 in Game One was the largest home crowd ever to see a K-Wings UHL playoff game. Also, so far in the playoffs, the K-Wings have welcomed 13,811 fans to Wings Stadium, which also sets a K-Wings UHL franchise record for most fans in a single-playoff year.
