November 17, 2004 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The K-Wings hit the road tonight to battle the Port Huron Beacons. Tonight's game is the third of eight between the teams this season. Kalamazoo has won the two previous encounters, including a 4-2 victory here at the McMorran Place Arena back on October 23rd.
Since yesterday, Kalamazoo has added some size to their lineup. The K-Wings completed a trade with Fort Wayne that sent forward Kevin Kotyluk to Kalamazoo for forward David Hukalo. The K-Wings will be looking to extend their road winning streak tonight. Kalamazoo starts the night winners of their last two games away from Wings Stadium.
While the K-Wings are looking to extend a streak, the Beacons will be looking to snap a streak. The Beacons are just 1-8-1 in their last 10 games and enter the game winless in their last three. The Beacons are in fourth place in the Central Division and are 7 points behind the K-Wings for third.
