Countdown to Face-Off
November 5, 2004 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the first time ever, the Kalamazoo Wings will face-off against the Kansas City Outlaws. Tonight's encounter will be the first of eight games between the teams this season.
Tonight's game is game two of a four game home stand for the K-Wings. After losing for just the fifth time in regulation in their past 40 games last Saturday night, the K-Wings will look to get back to their winning ways. Kalamazoo will get a boost in the lineup, as Ryan Barnes returns to the K-Wings after missing last Saturday's game due to an AHL call-up to Grand Rapids.
After a monster start to the season, Kansas City enters Wings Stadium looking to snap a 2 game losing streak. The biggest shooter on the Outlaws is Joe Seroski. Seroski has had no problems wrangling up goals, as his 9 goals on the year places him in a tie for the league lead.
