PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League (UHL) face-off tonight against the defending Eastern Conference Champion Elmira Jackals.

The Beacons face-off against the Jackals at 7:05 p.m. The Jackals currently sit in first place in the Eastern Division with 12 pts.

The Beacons and Jackals played last in May with the Jackals winning game six and bouncing the Beacons out of the playoffs. The Beacons had a 2-1 series lead at one point until losing the next three games to the Jackals including the clinching game at McMorran Arena on May 2nd.

Tomorrow night the Beacons face the Motor City Mechanics for the first time at McMorran Arena. This will be the second meeting between the two clubs in the past week. On Halloween the Mechanics defeated the Beacons 6-2. Forward Jeff Goldie of the Mechanics recorded a hat-trick in that game while Ian Jacobs and Malcolm MacMillan scored for the Beacons. Face-off is set for 7:05 p.m.

NOTE: Tomorrow November 6th is Mc’Donalds Kids Night. Every kid will receive a free kids ticket with a purchase of an adult ticket. You can pick up your ticket voucher at any of the local Mc’Donalds around the Port Huron area.
