Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the first time in franchise history the Kalamazoo Wings will host the Richmond RiverDogs. Lifetime, the K-Wings are 2-0-0 against the RiverDogs, both of those games were played earlier this month in Richmond. Kalamazoo will hope history can repeat itself has try to snap a season high five game winless streak. Despite the winless streak, the K-Wings have had success at Wings Stadium; in fact, the K-Wings will be looking to extend their 9 game home unbeaten streak. The K-Wings haven't lost in regulation at Wings Stadium since November 21st, when they lost to 3-2 against the Fort Wayne.
After playing their past 10 games at home, the âDogs will take their first road trip of 2004. Richmond went 2-5-3 during the home stand. Tonight will be an abbreviated road swing for RiverDogs. After tonight, they will return to the Richmond Coliseum for three Eastern Conference games.

Andrew Luciuk continued his scoring success last night. Luciuk will carry a 12 game scoring streak into tonight's game. The 12 game streak is the longest this season by any K-Wings player.

The K-Wings will enter tonight's game against the Richmond RiverDogs trying to extend their home unbeaten streak. Kalamazoo is unbeaten at Wings Stadium in their last 9 games dating back to November 21, 2003.
Keep One Streak and End Another
While the K-Wings will be looking to extend their home unbeaten streak, they will also try to end their overall winless streak. Kalamazoo enters play tonight with a season high five game winless streak.
Nearing Milestones
Three K-Wings players enter the week close to reaching personal milestones. Both Marty Flichel and Andrew Luciuk need just one more assist to reach 200 for their career. Joe Ritson is just one assist shy of 100 for his career.
