The Kalamazoo Wings and Greenville Road Warriors will continue their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup this evening with game two at Wings Stadium. Greenville took game one of the series by the final of 2-1.
The K-Wings were kept alive in game one with the play of Jordan Binnington. Binnington stopped 34 shots in the loss. Yannick Veilleux registered the lone goal for Kalamazoo in the third period on a sequence generated by a kicked puck from defenseman Elgin Reid.
Greenville applied pressure, scoring the game's first two goals, with markers from Marc-Oliver Vallerand and Bretton Cameron. Goaltender Jason Missiaen paved the way for the Road Warriors victory turning aside 35 shots.
