Cougars' Pitching and Defense Limit 'Hounds Offense

OCONOMOWOC, WI - The Kane County Cougars won the third game of the series against the Lake Country DockHounds 7-1 Thursday evening.
The scoring would begin in the second inning for Kane County. Josh Rolette one-hopped a ground-rule double with one out. He scored when Sherman Johnson hit a single.
Ernie De La Trinidad and Cornelius Randolph homered in the third to extend the lead 3-0. Alexis Pantoja scored on a passed ball in the fourth.
Lake Country would score one run in the sixth. After Daikan Yoh walked his way to first, Lamar Briggs grounded into a double play. Gabriel Noriega drove in Yoh with a single to trim the lead 4-1.
BJ Lopez hit an RBI double, and Jimmy Kerrigan homered to end all scoring. The Cougars took the game 7-1, but Lake Country won the 3-game series.
