Columbus Cottonmouths News Release
The Columbus Cottonmouths will take their annual holiday trip to visit the pediatric floor of Columbus Regional at The Medical Center Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.
All Snakes players will be on hand to deliver presents and visit with children in the hospital this holiday season.
The Columbus Cottonmouths also team up with Columbus Regional each year for the Tip-a-Snake Dinner and Silent Auction, to be held March 3, 2009 this season. The event raises money to benefit the Children's Miracle Network at The Medical Center. Over $20,000 is raised each year at the event.
This season, the Cottonmouths will use a pair of home games to help promote the event. Snakes players will be wearing specially-designed Children's Miracle Network jerseys, Feb. 12 and 13. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Children's Miracle Network, in conjunction with Tip-a-Snake.
