Calgary, AB - Calgary Roughnecks general manager Kurt Silcott has announced that the team has signed tough guy Ryan McNish to a one year deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
McNish played in 15 games for the Riggers during the 2006 season scoring 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists), 34 loose balls and 40 penalty minutes.
The 25 year old 6'2" 230 lbs. Winnipeg, MB native has played in 25 career games tallying 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists), 61 loose balls and 59 penalty minutes. McNish was originally drafted by the Toronto Rock in the third round (33 overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft. Ryan was the traded by the Rock in 2004 in exchange for Calgary's 6th round (73rd overall) selection in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.
