
Corey Trivino Returns to 'Blades from AHL

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that Corey Trivino has returned to the team on loan from the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. The Everblades have added Trivino to their playoff roster.
Trivino, 25, returns to the Everblades after totaling 14 points (3g, 11a) in 39 games played with Portland this season. Trivino recorded nine points (6g, 3a) in just five appearances with the Everblades earlier this season.
The 6-1, 193-pound center registered 43 points (11g, 32a) in 46 games with the Stockton Thunder last season.
Trivino began his professional career with the Everblades during the 2012-13 season registering 51 points (18g, 33a) in 63 games. He also tallied 11 points (3g, 8a) in 13 playoff appearances in the spring of 2013. In addition, Trivino was the recipient of the Everblades' Brandon Coalter Unsung Hero Award in 2012-13.
The Toronto, Ontario native amassed 73 points (31g, 42a) during his four-year career at Boston University. Trivino was selected by New York Islanders in the second round (#36 overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Everblades and the Orlando Solar Bears will meet in the first round of the 2015 Kelly Cup Playoffs beginning on Friday (April 17) at Germain Arena.
