ATLANTA, Ga. - Today the Atlanta Dream announced the second year of a partnership with CORE4 ATL, making the facility the team's official practice facility for the 2023 WNBA Season.
CORE4 ATL® is a state-of-the-art training facility and elite development academy founded by 4-time All- Star, Paul Millsap and his 3 brothers, John, Abe and Elijah Millsap. Founded in 2018 and based out of Chamblee, GA, Core4 ATL® serves the Metro Atlanta area by providing a state-of-the-art facility with a focus on four core values: Character, Commitment, Competition and Community. Core4 ATL host athletes of all levels, from Youth Training programs to Professional Training, AAU court Rentals and Pro Runs, Core 4 is partnering with The Atlanta Dream to not only provide a space for these athletes to train and cultivate their game, but to assert our role as supporters of the WNBA and Women's Athletics.
"We're excited to be returning to CORE4 again this season," said Dream head coach Tanisha Wright. "This facility was built by Paul Millsap and his family with the professional athlete in mind, and their support for the Dream and women's basketball as a whole makes this a fitting and natural partnership for us. Their facility has allowed us to provide the kind of resources professional athletes deserve, and we are excited to call CORE4 our home."
"On behalf of Paul and our Milsap family, we are excited to welcome the Atlanta Dream to CORE4 ATL as their official practice facility," said CORE4 General Manager John Milsap. "As dads of daughters, we welcome the opportunity for our daughters and the AAU players who practice and compete at CORE4 ATL to have strong, resourceful, athletic women for them to see on a daily basis as we build our elite athletic community."
The Dream will use the facility, located in Chamblee, Ga., starting with training camp on April 30 and throughout the 2023 season. Media is invited to attend camp and practices throughout the season to cover the team and secure in-person interviews. Details and practice times will be shared later this week.
