"The Frontier League is extremely excited to be returning to Washington and CONSOL Energy Park, said Bill Lee, Frontier League commissioner. "It is one of the League's great venues. It is a tremendous honor for any club to host the League's premier event. Washington is known throughout the league as one of the most hospitable teams and communities to visit."

"There are so many things we want to showcase to the members of the league while they're here," added Williams. "In addition to all the great tourist attractions here in Washington County, this gives the Wild Things the opportunity to promote our area businesses, which will in turn have a positive economic impact on the community! We want to focus on quality of life and ways to stimulate the local economy. Hosting The Frontier League All Star Game provides us a means to do just that."

Lee added, "The owners, staffs and players from all of the other teams look forward to visiting Washington. We are very confident that the Wild Things ownership and staff will showcase the community and facility to everyone involved. Hosting an All-Star Game is a large undertaking and we appreciate everyone's efforts. Anytime the League has had an event in Washington, it has been done in a first class manner and made memorable by those involved."
