
Connor Honey Joins T-Birds

Kent - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell announced today that Connor Honey has joined the T-Birds.
"Connor is a positive addition to our roster and he will help us this season," said Farwell. "We look forward to watching him develop and grow his game with us."
Honey started the season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. He had appeared in 17 games for the Gamblers this season and had seven points on one goal and six assists.
Last year Honey played for the Edmonton South Side Athletic team in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. He led the league in scoring with 56 points on 24 goals and 32 assists in 34 games. The South Side Athletic team won the prestigious Mac's Midget Tournament last year.
Honey, a 17-year-old center/right wing from Edmonton, attended the T-Birds training camp prior to this season.
The T-Birds take on the Prince George Cougars on Friday, December 9, at 7:35pm at ShoWare Center. They then face the Victoria Royals on Saturday at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2011-12 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.
T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
