Uncasville, CT - The Connecticut Sun has signed forward, Liz Dixon to a rest of season contract, the team announced today.
The 6-5 forward comes to Connecticut after finishing a successful collegiate career at the University of Louisville. Throughout four seasons with the Cardinals, Dixon averaged 5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds. She helped her team to two NCAA Elite Eight appearances (2021, 2023) and a trip to the Final Four (2022). Most recently, Dixon signed a training camp contract with the Phoenix Mercury prior to the 2023 season. She appeared in two preseason games, as well as the Mercury's season opener before being waived by the team.
The Connecticut Sun hosts the Dallas Wings on Sunday, June 4 at 1:00 PM ET at Mohegan Sun Arena.
