
Connecticut Sun Announce 2023 Preseason Schedule

Uncasville, CT - Today, the Connecticut Sun announced their two preseason games, ahead of the team's 2023 campaign.
The Connecticut Sun will open up preseason play at home against the New York Liberty on Wednesday, May 10 at 11:30 AM EST at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Sun will match up against the Liberty for the first time since their final 2022 regular season meeting on July 19, where the Sun picked up an 82-63 victory. The contest will also mark Connecticut's fourth preseason game against the Liberty over the last seven seasons, with the Sun boasting a 3-0 record.
Following their matchup with the Liberty, the Sun will hit the road to take on the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, May 14 at 3:00 PM EST at Gateway Center Arena @ College Park.
Last preseason, Connecticut defeated Atlanta in their lone preseason matchup, 94-78, on May 1 in Uncasville, CT. The contest will mark the team's first preseason game on the road since the Sun defeated the Wings in Dallas, 89-76, on May 8, 2021.
Dating back to the 2015 season, the Sun are 15-2 in preseason contests. Their last loss prior to the regular season came on May 14, 2019, when the Sun dropped a preseason match up against the Wings, 71-67.
The Sun tip off the 2023 regular season on Friday, May 19 at the Indiana Fever at 7:00 PM EST.
