
Connecticut Sun Announce 2023 Connecticut Sun Basketball Camp

Uncasville, CT - Today, the Connecticut Sun announced it's 2023 Connecticut Sun Basketball Camps.
The Sun is inviting girls grades 3-8 to come participate in high level instruction. Participants will learn new concepts and skills to take their game to the next level. Sun camps focus on all aspects of basketball, including skill development, teamwork and character building. Attendees will receive a camp t-shirt, one complimentary ticket to a Connecticut Sun home game at Mohegan Sun Arena, and the opportunity to see Connecticut Sun staff members and Blaze throughout the week.

The Sun's first camp, led by Norwich Free Academy Girl's Basketball Head Coach, Courtney Gomez, will be held at Norwich Free Academy (305 Broadway St, Norwich, CT 06360) from July 24-28, 2023. Kids, grades 3-8, will receive skills training and have opportunity to compete in games throughout the week, taking what they learn during the skills sessions and applying it to live action.
The second of the two camps, held at Sacred Heart Academy (265 Benham St. Hamden, CT 06514) from August 7-11, will be coached by Jason Kirck, Head Coach of Sacred Heart Academy Girls Basketball and Connecticut Basketball Academy. The camp will be split up into four sessions--two skills training groups and two elite skills training groups.
