Condors two-day Select-A-Seat Party coming September 12-13

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, have announced details for a two-day Select-A-Seat Party on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 at Rabobank Arena. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. both days.

The Condors will be serving free hot dogs, popcorn and soda at the event, which will also feature Condors players, coaches and mascots, games for the kids - including the Condors slapshot and bounce house, as well as the prize wheel. The best available seats will be tagged in the arena at the party, and there will be friendly Condors representatives on hand to answer any questions and assist fans in picking out the plan that best suits their needs. Plus, anyone who purchases a new ticket package at the event will receive a $10 gas card.

In addition to full season ticket plans, the Condors offer three different tiered mini plans - the Weekender Plan, the Saturday Assist Plan and the Pick 6 Plan - and start at just $42! Ticket packages are also available for the All-You-Can-Eat Pavilion, starting at just $89 per seat.

"Great seat locations are being snatched up every day, and as we get closer to the season that will only increase," said Condors Director of Ticket Sales Jose Rivera. "This event will give you the chance to sit in some different seats and pick your favorite spot to have for the season. And even if you've got your location already locked in, come down to chat with players and coaches and enjoy lunch on us!"

On Saturday, the Rabobank Theater and Convention Center is hosting the annual Home and Garden Show, and everyone is welcome to swing by on their way to or from that event.

Condors add pre-season game, slight changes to schedule

The Condors, who currently have two pre-season contests on the docket against the Las Vegas Wranglers, will also travel to Ontario to take on the Reign during training camp. The additional game is on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m.

Additionally, two home games have changed start times: Saturday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Apr. 4, both against Ontario. Events during the day in Rabobank Arena have prompted the start times to be pushed back one half hour later, now dropping the puck at 7:30 p.m.

The road game for Bakersfield in Phoenix originally scheduled for March 30 has been moved up on the calendar. That game will now take place on Tuesday, December 30. The change means that the Condors will finish the regular season with five consecutive, and nine of their last 11, games on home ice.
