Bakersfield shines defensively; Let It Fly Friday is this weekend

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (13-12-4-1, .517) prevailed against the San Antonio Rampage (16-18-2-0, .472) in an exciting 5-2 victory Tuesday night at Rabobank Arena. Newcomers Jesse Puljujarvi and Jaedon Descheneau both picked up points tonight, and the Condors defense held the Rampage to a season-low 19 shots. Bakersfield faces the Stockton Heat at home this Friday night.

It's been called Undie Sunday and Sock Toss Saturday, but this year's Let It Fly Friday will let fans throw new and unopened undergarments on the ice for charity after the Condors score their first goal. Bring socks, underwear, pajamas, diapers, bras, boxers, or any apparel item. Over 20,000 garments have been collected through this event the last three seasons. Presented by 1180 AM/96.1 FM KERN.
