
Condors Invite Lindberg to Camp

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club announced Sunday morning that Nicklas Lindberg has been invited to training camp. Lindberg is expected to join the Condors for their annual Open House and Family Day Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old Lindberg played the last two seasons with the Pensacola Ice Pilots, posting 43 points last year (12g, 31a) and 38 points in 2004-05 (15g, 23a). He spent the previous five years playing in Sweden, notching 174 points (87g, 87a) in 205 games.
Lindberg's most productive season came in 2000- 01 when he scored 56 points for Nacka HK of the Swedish 1. Division. The 5-foot-11-inch, 190- pounder from Stockholm, Sweden played in all 72 regular season games for Pensacola last season and was nominated for the Professional Hockey Player Association's InterContinental Hotels Group Ironman Award.
