BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, will host their 12th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday, Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rio Bravo Country Club to benefit Kern Bridges Youth Homes. For more than a decade, the Condors have offered this unique opportunity for fans to hit the links with professional hockey players. The Annual Condors Charity Golf Classic is more than just your typical day on the course. From wearing hockey gloves on a drive to putting with a hockey stick or aiming for a hockey net on your tee shot, this event is full of surprises.

"The Annual Condors Charity Golf Classic is one of our most enjoyable events of the season," said Condors Vice President of Operations Justin Fahsbender. "It's a great chance for our fans to see another side of our players, get out on the course and just have a good time. And we've raised a lot of money for local charities throughout the years" Teams are comprised of four entrants and a Condors player at a cost of $125 per person. Rio Bravo Country Club is located at 15200 Casa Club Drive. Included in the outing is a Condors Golf Tournament Polo, cart and greens fees, range balls prior to tee off, sack lunch, dinner following the round and extra prizes through a post-tournament raffle and auction.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Kern County Youth Homes, which provides a safe, stable and consistent environment for children who have been abused or neglected, and for children with serious emotional and behavioral difficulties. The event has raised more than $49,000 in its history.
