The Condors Season-Worn Jersey Off Our Backs Silent Auction to benefit the Active 20/30 Club began on eBay over the weekend.The jerseys up for bid are the white home jerseys used by the Condors during the 2008-09 season.

The proceeds raised from this event will benefit the youth of Kern County that are in extraordinary need, through the Active 20/30 Club. Last year's silent jersey auction raised $16,400 for the Active 20/30 Club. The Condors "Jersey Off Our Backs Auctions" have raised a combined total of $67,700 this season for deserving non-profit organizations.

Monday, April 27:

Tune in to ESPN Radio 1230 to hear the "Voice of the Condors," Kevin Bartl, on "There It Is! The Jake Stevens Show" at 6:40 p.m. Bartl will discuss the Condors playoff series against the Wranglers and everything else Condors hockey. "There It Is!" airs from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Wednesday, April 29:

Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend the Breaking the Cycle of Abuse Resource Fair put on by the Kern County Department of Human Services. The Colonel, who will be in attendance from 2 to 3 p.m. will bring Condors posters and other goodies for all the attendees. The fair will be held at the DHS building located at 100 E. California Ave.

Saturday, May 2:

Colonel Claw'd will visit with children at the Heritage Day Celebration held at the Riverwalk Park from 3 to 5 p.m. The Heritage Day celebration is put on by BGLAD an advocacy agency for the hearing impaired. Riverwalk Park is adjacent to Stockdale Hwy just west of Old River Road.
