Community Ties: Drew, Ben, Chris and Malcom Visit Element High School

On Monday May 30th, Chris Manella, Drew Beckie, Malcolm Shaw, and Ben Mckendry paid a visit to the Element High School students and staff. They shared their own educational experiences, the importance of support while balancing sport and education, the sacrifice and work ethic that is involved in playing professional sports, and gave the students some words of advice.

"Today was a good experience for us as players to connect with the Element High School. The group of students were quite interactive and interested in learning about us and they were receptive to our feedback and what we had to offer. It's a good opportunity to give back to the kids and share our knowledges and experiences so they can utilize the tools that we've learned to help better their future" - Malcolm Shaw summarizing the impact the visit left on him and his teammates

The team hit the road today for an away clash with Valour on Wednesday. After that, they're are back at TD Place for our home match on Sunday June 5th.
