SAVES LEADER: FC Edmonton goalkeeper Andreas Vaikla currently leads the CPL in saves, with 25. Vaikla has one clean sheet this season.

Vaikla is on loan from Toronto FC II.

SINGH SUSPENDED: FC Edmonton defender Luke Singh will be suspended for tonight's match against Forge FC after receiving two yellow cards in the Eddies previous match against Atletico Ottawa, last Sunday. Singh currently leads the CPL in interceptions with 22.

TIMOTEO'S FIRST: Eddies midfielder Wesley Timoteo scored his first professional goal on May 14, in a 2-1 loss to Pacific FC. Timoteo converted a corner kick in the second half.

ALL CLEAR!: FC Edmonton ranks third in the CPL in clearnaces with 122.

BITAR BATTLES: Midfielder Gabriel Bitar leads the team with 49 recoveries and is second on the team among duels won with 53.

He's also ranked third in the CPL in tackles with 14.

FIRST PRO START: FC Edmonton Kelsey Egwu made his first professioanl start in his professional debut against Pacific FC on May 14. The 17-year-old played all 90 minutes in the contest.

Forward CJ Smith also recorded his first pro start against Pacific FC.

HIGGINS' HEAVY WORKLOAD: FC Edmonton defender Nyal Higgins leads the team in minutes played with 630 minutes. He has played every minute of the seven matches he's dressed for.

PERFECT IN PK'S: FC Edmonton has scored five goals this season, two of which have been on penalty kicks. They're a perfect two-for-two on penalty kicks so far this year.

CAPTAIN RETURNS: FC Edmonton captain Shamit Shome returned to the lineup last weekend against Atletico Ottawa.

The 24-year-old had missed three matches due to injury, but the former Montreal Impact midfielder started his third match of the season and was solid in his return.

STRONG DUO: The tandem of Cale Loughrey and Nyal Higgins lead the Eddies in both blocks and advantages won.

The two defenders have logged a lot of minutes on the team's back line this year with Higgins playing 630 minutes, and Loughrey playing 542.
