When you log-onto NYLiberty.com next week, you'll get fresh updates directly from the players and coaches to find out how they spent their off-season and what they're doing to prepare for the 2007 WNBA season. Plus, you will get to see video of the Liberty player's discussing their favorite things on and off the court, in our newest feature - "Know Your Liberty."
Speaking of life on the court, swing by The Garden this summer and we will get you reacquainted with your favorite returning stars, like Shameka Christon, Loree Moore, Erin Thorn and Cathrine Kraayeveld. And we will introduce you to the Liberty Class of 2007 - Jessica Davenport, Tiffany Jackson, Shay Doron and Martina Weber - as they make their WNBA debuts in "The World's Most Famous Arena."
Your first chance to catch the new Liberty will be on Saturday, May 12 for a pre-season match-up against the Houston Comets on Saturday, May 12 (2PM) at The Garden. New York will tip-off the regular season on Sunday, May 20 (4PM) versus the Chicago Sky. So grab your calendar to find out when you will be having fun at The Garden this summer.
