Sun Schedule Open Practice at CCSU

UNCASVILLE, CT. (May 4, 2007) - The WNBA's Connecticut Sun will hold an open practice on May 11th from 6-8 p.m. at Central Connecticut State's Detrick Gymnasium.
The practice will be open to the public. Blaze, the team mascot, will be on hand, and there will be an autograph session immediately following the practice.
Celebrating their fifth season in Connecticut, the Sun compiled the best record in the WNBA for the second straight year last summer, finishing 26-8 while advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the fourth straight year. With a lineup that includes established stars Nykesha Sales, Asjha Jones, Katie Douglas, Margo Dydek and Lindsay Whalen, the Sun will be expected to contend for the title again this season.
Connecticut opens the regular season May 26th at 3:30 p.m., hosting the Los Angeles Sparks at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets for all games may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 877.WNBA.TIX, logging on to www.connecticutsun.com, or by visiting the Mohegan Sun Arena box office.
