Comedy Legend Will Ferrell to Visit The Dell Diamond May 6

Comedy legend Will Ferrell is scheduled to make a special appearance at The Dell Diamond for the Round Rock Express game Thursday, May 6, against the Nashville Sounds. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT. Ferrell joins a long list of celebrities to attend Express games, including Matthew McConaughey, Lance Armstrong, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Bill Engvall and Kurt Russell.

Ferrell, star of Step Brothers, Blades of Glory, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Old School, Elf and the upcoming The Other Guys, will be in Austin as celebrity host of the inaugural Will Powered Golf Classic in conjunction with Cancer for College. The charity golf event takes place Friday, May 7, at Cimarron Hills Country Club in Georgetown, Texas.

During his visit to The Dell Diamond, Ferrell will interact with fans, visit with the media and discuss his charity on the Express radio broadcast with play-by-play man Mike Capps.
