
Come celebrate Hammy's birthday Friday

Rockford, Ill.- The 2004-05 regular season is winding down and Friday fans of all ages can come and celebrate Hamilton E. Hogs sixth birthday before Friday game against the Flint Generals at the Rockford MetroCentre. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and the doors will open at a special early tine at 5:00 p.m.
The first 1,000 kids 12-and under to the game will receive a Hammer Hog Bobblehead Doll from Members Alliance Credit Union and 97ZOK. The bobbleheads will be distributed beginning at 5:00 p.m. Fans who come early can participate in the carnival for Hammy's birthday party located in the Amcore Bank parking lot across from the MetroCentre.
Hammy's carnival will feature face painting, clowns and mascots from local sports teams. Mascots on the invite list include Skates from the Chicago Wolves, Freddy Flash from the Rockford Lightning, Roco from the Rockford Riverhawks and the Flint Generals Mascot. There will also be several other mascots in attendance from local businesses.
Fans will also have a chance to dunk celebrities in a dunk tank. Scheduled to swim include IceHogs Head Coach Steve Martinson, IceHogs General Manger Ryan Washatka, United Hockey League Commissioner Richard Brosal and MetroCentre General Manager Corey Pierson.
