
Columbus Destroyers To Host Rooster's Wing Bash

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Destroyers, presented by Germain, will host Rooster's Wing Bash on Friday, June 8 when the Destroyers (6-6) host the Kansas City Brigade (7-5) on Huntington Field at Nationwide Arena in the final regular season home game of the 2007 campaign. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. (ET).
The Rooster's Wing Bash will take place on the plaza outside the McConnell Street entrance to Nationwide Arena beginning at 4 p.m. (ET). Chicken wings from Rooster's, Anheuser Busch beverages and Pepsi products will be served. Fans in attendance will also be treated to a live performance by The Pike Band.
The Cleveland Cavalier Girls will sign autograph cards from 6-7 p.m. (ET) on the Bud Light Terrace. Cavalier Girls Amanda, Danielle, Elle, Hayley, Jennelle, Rhema, Suzanne and Natalie will perform at halftime.
The Huntington $10 Ticket Blitz continues for every home game during the 2007 Destroyers season. A minimum of 225 lower bowl seats will be available for $10 at the Nationwide Arena Box Office two hours prior to every home game. The regular price on lower bowl seats is $26.
The Destroyers and Giant Eagle are teaming up with the Mid-Ohio FoodBank to TACKLE HUNGER in Central Ohio. Last year, with the help fans, the Destroyers raised enough resources to provide over 27,000 meals to those in need. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to all Destroyers home games to receive a raffle ticket. In addition to the food drive, fans that bring a Giant Eagle-branded non-perishable food item will receive a voucher for $3 off a regularly priced ticket.
The Destroyers return to action on Saturday when they visit the Georgia Force on June 2. Kickoff at Philips Arena is set for 7 p.m. (ET). The game will broadcast live on the Destroyers Radio Network and flagship station WINK 107.1 FM with the pre-game show beginning at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
