
Columbus Crew SC Acquires 2017 Natural Second Round MLS SuperDraft Pick from Chicago Fire

COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew SC today announced that it has acquired a 2017 Natural Second Round MLS SuperDraft pick from the Chicago Fire in exchange for the Discovery Priority on midfielder Khaly Lyane Thiam. Pursuant to the trade agreement, if Thiam starts in 12 or more MLS regular-season games in 2016, or if his loan is extended or successfully converted into a transfer following the 2016 season, Crew SC will receive General Allocation Money instead of the SuperDraft pick.
Crew SC hosts the Montreal Impact at MAPFRE Stadium this Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET (The CW Columbus, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, BCSN2, CD102.5 FM, La Mega 103.1 FM, English radio stream on ColumbusCrewSC.com).
