Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack will host the Barrie Colts tonight for the second time in a week as they look to get back on track after dropping a 5-0 decision to the Storm last Saturday.

Jarrod Maidens made his long awaited return to Owen Sound yesterday, skating prior to the Attack practice. It is expected Maidens will re-join his teammates in the near future for practice, however; no firm timetable has been set.

Last Wednesday, Jordan Binnington collected his 6th shutout of the season in a 3-0 whitewash of the Colts. Cameron Brace will sit out his second game of a two game ban, stemming from an incident that occurred last Friday in Guelph while Brayden Rose will be in the Attack line-up after his suspension was lifted yesterday by the Ontario Hockey League. The Attack are 2-0-0-1 against the Colts this season, with both victories coming via shutout on home ice.

Wednesday, January-30-13: Colts @ Attack - Mark Scheifele is still on the Winnipeg Jets roster despite being scratched for the past three games by the big club. The Colts have soldiered on without Scheifele, going 7-2-0-1 in the past 10 games and are coming off a convincing 4-1 win over the Peterborough Petes last Saturday night. The Colts still lead the Eastern Conference with 66 points, a 6 point cushion over the surging Belleville Bulls.

Look Out For - Zach Hall currently leads the Colts in scoring with 56 points in 44 games. The 19 year old Belleville native had a breakout season in 2011/2012, raising his point total to 59 from12 the previous year and he looks to be well on his way to eclipsing that this year.

There is standing room tickets left for tonight's game against Barrie. Tickets can be purchased at the Attack Box Office in the main lobby of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Game time is 7:00pm.
