San Angelo, Texas --- The Edinburg Roadrunners used a four-run first inning to catapult themselves to a 13-6 win over the Colts Friday night at Foster Field.

Second baseman Wilmer Pino and left fielder Derek Perren each hit two-run homers in the first inning against Colts' starter Jose Sanchez. Perren hit a pair of home runs, his first two of the season.

In his Colts' debut, Sanchez (0-1) took the loss. He gave up seven runs on eight hits in four innings.

Edinburg scored more three runs in the fourth and fifth innings to take a commanding 10-0 lead.

The Colts got on the board in the bottom of the fifth with a solo home run by centerfielder Ronnie Gaines. It was his third homer of the year.

San Angelo knocked Roadrunners' starter Aaron Tullo out of the game in the sixth, as right fielder Jamar Walton hit a two-run double. The Colts went on to score four runs in the inning thanks to a two RBI homer by catcher Josh Banda. It was his league-best fifth of the season.

Tullo (1-0) allowed four runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings, and picked up his first win.
