
Thunder Rebound against WhiteWings

Edinburg, Texas - The McAllen Thunder (7-15) used a five run sixth inning to propel them over the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings by a score of 9-7 Saturday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
The Thunder offense was lead by catcher Gio Rosa and third baseman Antoin Gray who drove a pair of runs to lead the McAllen squad. Nick Mahin contributed with two hits in the victory.
Frank James (2-1) earned his second victory of the season allowing eight hits and six runs on seven innings pitched. Kurt Houck earned his second save of the season while throwing two innings and allowed one hit in the process.
Jeovanny Reyes (2-3) took the loss for the WhiteWings (13-9) lasting only five innings while allowing four hits and five runs.
The Thunder will end their four game series on Sunday night against the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings at Edinburg Baseball Stadium with the first pitch set for 6:05 p.m.
