San Angelo Colts News Release

Fort Worth, Texas --- The San Angelo Colts announced Friday they have signed infielder Jordan Marks, and placed left-handed pitcher Kristian Bueno on the Inactive List.

Marks, 24, began this season with the Grand Prairie AirHogs of the independent American Association. He played in one game for the AirHogs and went 0-for-2.

Marks began his professional career last year. He spent a majority of the 2012 season with the American Association's El Paso Diablos. In El Paso, Marks hit .298 with a home run and 18 RBIs in 38 games.

Marks also played in two games for the Abilene Prairie Dogs last season.

Now in his second pro season, Marks has a career .279 batting average with a home run and 18 RBIs in 41 games. Marks is a native of Alexandria, La.

In order to make room for Marks on the active roster, the Colts also placed Bueno on the Inactive List. Bueno, 24, did not make the eight-game road trip with the team, but he will return to the active roster next week during the Colts' 12-game homestand.

Bueno pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings in his only start on May 28 against the Edinburg Roadrunners.

The Colts play game two of their four-game series against the Fort Worth Cats tonight. First pitch at LaGrave Field is set for 7:05 p.m., and the game can be heard live beginning at 6:50 p.m. on 1260 KKSA.

The Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 14th season. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Colts' front office at 94-COLTS.
