
Colts pick up forward off waivers from Ottawa

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today announced they have acquired 17-year old forward Randy Johnston off waivers from the Ottawa 67's.
Johnston has appeared in nine games this season with Ottawa after he registered 33 points (15g-18a) in 41 games last season as a member of the Stouffville Spirit. A native of Newmarket, ON, Johnston also played four games for the 67's last season as a 16-year old.
"Randy is a solid prospect with plenty of potential," stated General Manager Mike McCann. "He plays with a lot of energy, has good hockey sense, and has all of the necessary attributes to be a good player in this league."
