Barrie Colts News Release
Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that the Barrie Colts Hockey School begins this Monday, March 14th at the Innisfil Recreational Centre.
The March break camp is dedicated to kids aged 8-14 years old and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day.
"We push the kids pretty hard but in a positive way," said Colts Assistant Coach Todd Miller. "We look at all on-ice aspects from stick-handling to power-skating and provide plyometrics with our dry-land trainer."
Kids will be on the ice beginning at 9:00 a.m. each morning and will also receive strength and conditioning training from Colts Athletic Therapist Richard Rotenberg.
Anybody who is interested in enrolling in the March break camp can call Todd Miller at (705) 715-5608.
The Colts will also host two hockey schools in the summer with guest appearances by Colts players and staff. Wasaga Beach will host the first camp between July 4th and 22nd, and Alliston will be the site of the second camp running from August 1st to 12th.
